We have just launched a new service for horse riders; Equine Buddies. This is a new telephone messaging service that enables horse riders to meet up with other horse riders to arrange rides out together or other horse riding activities.
The service is simple to use, you just call *0906 738 0430 and answer some simple questions about yourself, your riding experience and your horse and then wait for another horse rider to contact you.
Catherine Wheatcroft, site founder explained “We have created the Buddies service so that like-minded horses riders can join up and ride together. It may be that you are bored of always riding on your own and want to explore somewhere new”
By becoming a member of Buddies, you can contact other horse riders within your region that have similar interests or abilities to you. You can then arrange to go out exploring new bridleways and places to ride or even just share your own local routes together.
“We are sure that you will find it easy to phone through your details on our message service, and even easier to listen to other rider’s messages. The more horse riders that join and leave a message, the more new horse riders will be available for you to meet!” added Catherine.
You can then arrange a ride out together at a convenient venue or arrange for several of you to get together and hack out.
Once you have registered your details, you can listen to messages left by other horses riders in your chosen area and contact those that you want to ride with.
There is no joining fee for the Buddies service, you just pay for the calls you make when registering your details or listening to messages from other horse riders.
*Calls to leave a message and to listen to messages are charged at £1.00 per minute from a BT landline, other networks may vary. All calls are charged through your normal telephone service provider via your phone bill. Please note that you must be over 18 to use this service.
Any profits from the service will be reinvested in the Bridleways.co.uk service.
