DAVENTRY

The Daventry district is located on the western side of Northamptonshire. The primary towns are Byfield and Daventry in the south, Barby in the west, Maidwell, Brixworth and Moulton in the east. In the north is Welford.

From a riding perspective the area is well served with public bridleways and quiet country lanes as well as the lower part of the Brampton Trail.

The main roads to get around the area are the A5, A45, A361. We suggest that to get the most out of the area, you purchase the following Ordnance Survey Explorer maps: 222 and 223, to use in conjunction with our routes.
