NEWARK AND SHERWOOD
The Newark and Sherwood district is located centrally within the county of Nottinghamshire and is one of the largest districts. The principle towns and villages in the area include Lowdham and Farndon in the south, Clipston, Bilsthorpe and Blidworth in the west, Newark and Collingham in the east and Edwinstwow, Broughton and Sutton on Trent in the north.

This area is probably one of the best areas for riders in Nottinghamshire, owing mainly to the presence of Sherwood Forest and plenty of off road parking.

The main roads to get around the area are the A1, A46, A614, A616, A617, A6075. We suggest that to get the most out of the area, you purchase Ordnance Survey Explorer map: 270 to use in conjunction with our routes.
