NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME
Newcastle under Lyme is located in the north west of Staffordshire. The primary towns and villages in the area include Loggerheads, Ashley Heath and Whitmore in the south. In the north is Kidsgrove and Audley. Newcastle under Lyme is located in the north east of the district.

From a riding perspective the area is limited in connected public bridleways, but on purchase of a ‘park specific’ permit (around £50 per riding season) riders can access Apedale Country Park.

The main roads to get around the area are the A34, A51, A53, A525 and A500. We suggest that to get the most out of the area, you purchase the following Ordnance Survey Explorer maps: 243, 257 and 258 to use in conjunction with our routes.
