NORTH SHROPSHIRE
Located in the north of the county, North Shropshire’s primary towns and villages are Baschurch, Clive Shawbury, Child’s Ercall and Hinstock in the south, Ellesmere, Tetchill and Cockshutt in the west, Woore, Market Drayton, Ternhill and Hinstock in the east. In the north is Whitchurch. Centrally located in the borough is Wem, Loppington and Weston.

From a riding perspective there are not many connected public bridleways and those that do exist start and end on busy A roads. There are however many minor roads in the area, particularly north of Wem.

The main roads to get around the area are the A41, A49, A53, A442 We suggest that to get the most out of the area, you purchase the following Ordnance Survey Explorer maps: 241 and 243 to use in conjunction with our routes.
