| SOUTH SHROPSHIRE |
As it name implies the South Shropshire district is located in the south of the county. The principle towns and villages are Ludlow, Caynham , Clee Hill and Cleobury Mortimer in the south, in the north is Church Stretton, Chirbury, Norbury and Marshbrook.
From a riding perspective south Shropshire offers some of the best off road riding opportunities in the region, whether it is riding on the Long Mynd, around Brown Clee Hill or Hope Dale. Alternatively for a longer distance rides there are the Jack Mytton Way or Shropshire Way trails which feature in the district.
The main roads to get around the area are the A49, A489, A4117. We suggest that to get the most out of the area, you purchase the following Ordnance Survey Explorer maps: 213, 216 and 217 to use in conjunction with our routes.
