STAFFORD
The borough of Stafford is located in the western side of Staffordshire and borders Shropshire. The primary towns and villages in the area are Gnosall, Bradley, Haughton, Satfford and Colwich in the south, Adbaston, Eccleshall and Ellenhall in the west. In the west is Milwhich, Gayton, Stowe and Hixon. In the north is Barlestone, Swynnerton, Fulford and Stone.

From a riding perspective the most connected public bridleways are in the south west of the borough around Bradley and Church Eaton. Staffordshire County Council also provide access to the Stafford to Newport Greenway for a permit fee of around £50 per year.

The main roads to get around the area are the A34, A51, A518 and A5013. We suggest that to get the most out of the area, you purchase the following Ordnance Survey Explorer maps: 241, 242, 243 and 258 to use in conjunction with our routes.
