EAST MIDLANDS
The East Midlands covers areas from Northamptonshire in the south, to Lincolnshire in the east, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire in the centre and Derbyshire to the north. There are a number of areas suitable for riding, whether it be a reservoir, forests, along trails or in open countryside. Areas include Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, The National Forest in Leicestershire and Carsington Water in Derbyshire.

There are many trails that use former railway lines such as Brampton Valley Way in Northamptonshire or the High Peak in Derbyshire. Part of the East Midlands is covered by the Peak National Park, which boasts some stunning scenery, particularly in the spring and summer months. Most areas of the East Midlands are easily and quickly accessible by means of the M1, A6, A46 and A52.
