MIDLANDS

The Midlands region covers Shropshire and Herefordshire in the west, Staffordshire in the north, Worcestershire and Warwickshire in the south. The urban metropolitan area of the West Midlands is located in the centre of the region.

The area encompasses a diverse range of environments from the western fringe of the Peak District and the Staffordshire Moorlands to the rolling countryside of Warwickshire and the stunning scenery of Shropshire and Hereforshire. In the West Midlands, Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield offers riders the chance to explore.

Most areas of the Midlands are easily and quickly accessible by means of the M5, M6, M6T, M54, A5, A34 and A38.

Most bridleways and other rights of way tend to be managed by the relevant county councils for the individual areas.
