Description

Bridging the gap between natural horsemanship and competitive riding, this book offers an effective training programme for all riders, especially those who want to compete and succeed, for creating a calm, gentle and happy horse whatever the situation. It shows how to use the horse's natural behavioural instincts to train with respect and kindness, and resolves stage-fright in an otherwise talented horse, and makes riding safer by 'spookbusting' your horse.

Author Biography:
Roger and Joanna Day are well known in the eventing world, having owned and run the Primmore Stud for many years. Joanna combines her 40 years of experience coaching top eventing partnerships with her knowledge of natural horsemanship, and Roger is the Chief FEI Steward at the Badminton Horse Trials. They live near Taunton in Somerset.
